Joseph Lawson

Pianist/coach Joseph Lawson served as the Assistant Chorus Master from the 2008-9 through the 2019-20 seasons, and now is a regular member of the music staff and has assumed the bulk of the backstage banda conducting responsibilities. Other companies in the field of opera for which he has worked include Lyric Opera of Chicago, Glimmerglass Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, The Minnesota Opera, Washington Concert Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, Baltimore Opera, Tulsa Opera, Virginia Opera and Portland Opera. In addition to his activities in opera, he is also an active composer and arranger.
